About Barbara Clark
Barbara Clark’s life is a living testament to unwavering faith, resilience, and service. The daughter of the late Bishop James and Mother Mary Clark, she carries forward a rich spiritual heritage, seamlessly blending ministry, advocacy, authorship, and empowerment in every sphere of her life.
Barbara holds an Associate’s Degree in Fashion, Marketing, Retail, and Business Management; a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministry; a Master’s Degree in Music Theology; and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Christian Therapeutic Counseling. With over 38 years of dedicated service, she has transformed lives through faith, teaching, music, leadership, and prophetic insight. From her early beginnings as a musician, choir director, and youth minister, to her dynamic tenure as CEO of the YWCA of Central New Jersey, Barbara has remained a steadfast advocate for women’s empowerment, purpose, and voice.
She is also the author of the transformative book ‘A Woman in Silence Speaks’ – a powerful work that gives voice to women and men who have endured seasons of silence, guiding readers toward healing, restoration, and renewed God-given purpose. The book reflects Barbara’s prophetic heart and lifelong mission to help others reclaim their voice and walk boldly in divine identity and the workbook will walk you through to your next transformative moment.
As Founder and CEO of The Greater Vision Foundation, Barbara turned personal adversity into divine purpose. After learning that her children were diagnosed with a rare eye condition known as Stargardt’s Disease, she established the Foundation to uplift and support the vision-impaired community through education, music, advocacy, and essential resources – extending hope and opportunity far beyond her local reach.
Barbara’s artistry and ministry have transcended borders. She has performed internationally throughout Europe, Germany, France, Japan, and Singapore with the Glory Gospel Singers. Her ministry has graced churches, cathedrals, conferences, and global platforms, where she continues to teach and proclaim the Word of God with conviction, compassion, and prophetic clarity. Her stage presence also shines in the performing arts, from her debut at the Apollo Theater in the off-Broadway production ‘While U Were Preaching’, to film roles including Iniquity, directed by Joshua Coates, and the Lionsgate production ANEMONE (2024), directed by Bobby Ciasulli. ANEMONE is now available on Amazon Prime and other streaming platforms.
Beyond her creative and ministerial callings, Barbara embodies vision and strategy as a Visionary Real Estate Impact Partner. She bridges purpose and profit by helping individuals and communities build generational wealth through strategic property ownership and faith-based financial empowerment. Her work extends beyond transactions, it is rooted in transformation, collaboration, and legacy-building with investors, entrepreneurs, and families.
Above all, Barbara, affectionately known as Lady B – is a devoted mother to Delric and Brittney, a prophetic voice for her generation, and a living reminder that faith can indeed move mountains. Her journey inspires others to discover their voice, clarify their vision, and walk boldly in divine purpose – proving that with God, every life dynamic can become a platform for lasting change.
